It's a little sad to think of my babies entering a whole new stage of their lives but at the same time but it's pretty awesome that I will be there with them the whole way. There is so much still to look forward to luckily all my memories along the way will never be lost. I must admit, I'm pretty damn grateful for that! (and I seriously can't imagine being the mum of teenagers!!)
Excuse the grainy photo - I had to scan it!! |
So where will I honestly be in 10 years time?? I don't know! I think it's too far ahead to even try and predict. If I was asked this question 10 years ago, there is absolutely no way I would have predicted that I would be a mum of three beautiful children and living in AUSTRALIA!! I could not be any happier though, and I can only hope for the same in the next 10 years.
So that was Day 6 of blogging every day in May!
Do you know where you will be in 10 years time??

DeleteWHat a gorgeous family you have :)
ReplyDeleteAw thank you Sam xx
DeleteUmm you are such a handsome family!!! And you are totally gorg in that first photo. Here's to us still be foxy in 10 years x
ReplyDeleteOf course we will be Em - there is not doubt, lol!! x
DeleteKeep taking the family photos, I so regret that we have very few with all of us in the shot. Now I do have two teens who aretaller than me. But I still don't believe that my wee ones (8 on Friday) will ever grow up. Surely they won't?? They're too sweet to ever be teenagers surely?
ReplyDeleteSo true Seana and it's no easy task to get one either!! It's like rounding cats to get them all looking in the same direction at the same time!! I just can't imagine the teenagers either - I hope they are kind to me when the hormones arrive, lol!! x
DeleteI 'm with you on being a mum of a teenager too - will they still want us mums?
ReplyDeleteHahaha - I bet we will be the MOST embarrassing parents EVER!!
DeleteYour family is gorgeous and yes 10 years time is scary to think about with twins doing their HSC and driving.
ReplyDeleteThanks Trish!! Urgh the driving!! I hadn't thought of that!! I am not the best driver anyway so I will have to outsource that task I think!!
DeleteA gorgeous family photo-love the beer props! We took a family photo at Christmas and realised after we had given a copy to everyone that my hubby still had his sunnies on...so I will have to try again xx You haven't changed a bit in 10 years!
ReplyDeleteTen years does seem so far away doesn't it? Especially when you think of all the rings that has happened in the last ten years!
